Detailed Info & Volunteering
PTO Dues
The PTO funds so many of the programs that make KRS such a special place.
We will be holding various fundraisers throughout the year, but nothing raises money more efficiently than your direct contribution to PTO Dues. We ask that you please contribute as generously as you can this year. Every dollar donated goes directly back to our kids.
You can contribute via Venmo @KRS-Treasurer or by sending in a check in an envelope to Ann Guzewicz in the Main Office addressed to the PTO Treasurer (please note PTO Dues).
Students in grades K-4:
$60 per student or whatever you are able to contribute, no amount is too big or too small
Students in 5th Grade:
$75 per student to fund special graduation activities.
We apologize to those of you who were unable to secure a slot. We are working closely with Countryside to improve upon this for next year.
Newcomers Coffee
Please join us for a Newcomers Coffee on Thursday, September 22nd at 18 Dellwood Parkway S. Swing by anytime between 9-11 to meet PTO members, ask questions, and/or get involved in the PTO.
The rain date is September 29th. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the KRS community.
Mobilearq
We are hoping to have our mobile directory, Mobilearq, running very soon. Mobilearq is a great tool where you will be able to look up the contact information for other students in your child's class and in the school overall. There is even an app available for your phone.
We are awaiting guidance from the district (who will be pulling all this information from the Genesis portal). Please stay tuned!
Seeking Meet the Masters Captains
We are seeking one captain per grade to help with this popular and fun enrichment program.Volunteers need not be master artists, as the students will only do just grade-level projects.
The Grade Captain volunteer position will help organize and oversee their grade's MTM projects throughout the year alongside other volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about the Meet The Masters Grade Captain volunteer position or have any questions about the program, please email Joy Suprano Hanna at joy.suprano@yahoo.com.
Meet the Masters is an interactive multimedia art program produced by the PTO where the children learn about the fascinating lives and famous works of Master Artists by doing a fun art project in the classroom.
We love to spoil our teachers at KRS! Please sign up here to donate goodies and treats to stock the teachers' room. We will consistently be updating this sign up with more things needed in the teachers' room.
First General PTO Meeting for 2022-2023 School Year
We sincerely hope that you will join us to discuss current happenings in our school — or whatever is on your mind! — on October 6th at 7:30 pm.
We will be meeting in the multi-purpose room at KRS. Coffee and snacks will be served. We are hoping to live-stream the meeting for those of you who cannot attend.
Is Your Child On Track in Math?
IvyMath is offering free comprehensive math assessments and parent conferences to discuss your child's math strengths and weaknesses and how they compare to grade level.
IvyMath will set up a custom learning plan for your child, and schedule 2 free private coaching sessions to work on their weaknesses. This is a great way to make sure your child is on track in math as we start the school year!
These coaching sessions are free for all Kings Road families. Popular times fill up, so please register quickly!
We are SO excited to launch the year’s school spirit wear! We have so many exciting new designs and options for all. Please see the link below to order all your KRS swag. It is a GREAT day to be a COUGAR!

Fall Mums Fundraiser
Thank you to Caitlyn Richards and her team for running a successful mum sale for KRS this year. She did a “mum”derful job, and we hope you all enjoy your beautiful flowers this fall. Thank you to those who donated mums to beautify KRS this season as well.
