KRS Meet the Masters Art Show

Please join us Tuesday, April 18th in the Multi-Purpose room, Beginning at 6 pm

All the KRS students have worked on various art projects all year and look forward to debuting them at the official MEET THE MASTERS ART SHOW this Tuesday. We invite all the students, friends, and family to check out their fantastic work.

What is MEET THE MASTERS?

Meet the Masters is a PTO-sponsored event that provides an engaging Elementary School Art Curriculum to KRS! Through music, books, PowerPoint slides, posters, and videos, the children learn about the fascinating lives and famous works of Master Artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Frank Lloyd Wright, and many more. Interactive questions and multi-media content captivate the students while inspiring them to create a version of the artist's work and art genre.

READING NIGHT will begin at 6:30 PM.

Readers will include fabulous KRS teachers, Madison Mayor Bob Conley, Student Resource Officer Pete Frank, Madison Police Officers and Captain Ed Nunn from the Madison Fire Department.

Hope to see you THIS Tuesday!

May Day - April 29th

We are looking for an eager parent volunteer to lead the charge for May Day this year. The lead volunteer would help direct parent volunteers, girl and boy scout troops and any other KRS students who want to help lay mulch and beautify Kings Road School. Please email us at krspto@madisonnjps.org if you are interested.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

Calling all KRS Families!! Teacher Appreciation Week will soon be upon us and a new treasured tradition is the Faculty and Staff Thank You Video. If you would like to send a video (no longer than 30 seconds) to Katie Zurich at kkotaska@gmail.com we'll compile a video to be shared within the KRS community. The video should star your child/children sharing what they love about their teacher(s)! Thanks for thinking of the people who make learning possible and profound for our children!

As we prepare for Teacher Appreciation Week, we would appreciate your help with donating gift cards that will be distributed to staff at the end of the week, as well as items for the staff luncheon and items to help us “stock” the teachers room. Please see the sign up genius below on how you can help! Questions can be directed to Bridget Vasto, Alexis Maldonado and Carolyn Townsend.

KRS DIRECTORY

The KRS PTO has decided to collect information for a PTO directory for the 2023-2024 school year. The KRS PTO Directory is a helpful resource which includes student and family names and contact information. We want to get a head start and get as many current families as possible. In order to create our own directory, we need your HELP. We need your most up to date information to be included in the KRS PTO Directory.

Please respond via the Google Form link below if you wish to submit your family’s information. We can only include your information if you provide consent by filling out the form below. You only need to provide the information you would like to see in the directory. Please note that the directory is only available to families at KRS and we do not share your information.

Please note that you only need to fill out ONE form per family and you only need to fill out the form if you have a student returning to KRS next school year.
