TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

Teacher Appreciation Week is here and we are putting out a LAST CALL for Faculty and Staff Thank You Videos. If you would like to send a video (no longer than 30 seconds) to Katie Zurich at kkotaska@gmail.com we'll compile a video to be shared within the KRS community. Record your child/children sharing what they love about their teacher(s)! Thanks for thinking of the people who make learning possible and profound for our children!

Questions about Teacher Appreciation Week can be directed to Bridget Vasto, Alexis Maldonado and Carolyn Townsend.

FIELD DAY

Friday, May 19th

Our first one-day, full school Field Day is coming! The day will end with our first ever KRS RAINBOW RUN. This is going to be so much fun but it will require a lot of help from our KRS parents and guardians! You might want to consider a day off from work for this one, it is going to be EPIC :)

Please sign up for a volunteer spot!

We will be hosting a brief Zoom meeting on Wednesday, May 17th at 8:30 pm for all Field Day Volunteers. We will review the schedule for the day and answer as many questions as we can! We will send out an email with a Zoom link that day. We hope all of you who have volunteered can hop on the call so that the day can run as smoothly as possible.

2023-2024 PTO VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The PTO is actively recruiting for PTO positions. If you're interested in learning more about volunteering for our school, our current needs, and/or wish to contribute in any way, shape, or form, please join us at 32 Broadview Avenue on June 1st (after drop off) for some coffee and conversation.

KRS SPRING CARNIVAL - SAVE THE DATE

Springtime at KRS wouldn’t be complete without our KRS Carnival! It will be held on Friday, June 2nd, starting at 4:30 pm. Inflatables, face-painting, dunk tanks, delicious treats- you name it- we’ve got it! Tickets will be on sale soon!

Order School Supplies

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

We are so excited that this year we've partnered with 1st Day School Supplies. They are going to save us up to 30% over shopping at big box stores like Target, Walmart and Amazon. Better yet, they are the undisputed leader in custom kitting school supplies. Providing us with only brand names you trust and respect like Ticonderoga, Crayola, Elmer's and Clorox.

So, what are you waiting for? Buy early and save! School supply boxes will be shipped directly to KRS and available for pick up at the Teacher Meet and Greets in September!

KRS DIRECTORY

The KRS PTO has decided to collect information for a PTO directory for the 2023-2024 school year. The KRS PTO Directory is a helpful resource which includes student and family names and contact information. We want to get a head start and get as many current families as possible. In order to create our own directory, we need your HELP. We need your most up to date information to be included in the KRS PTO Directory.

Please respond via the Google Form link below if you wish to submit your family’s information. We can only include your information if you provide consent by filling out the form below. You only need to provide the information you would like to see in the directory. Please note that the directory is only available to families at KRS and we do not share your information.

Please note that you only need to fill out ONE form per family and you only need to fill out the form if you have a student returning to KRS next school year.
