KRS Holiday Wreaths

The shipment of wreaths (from Canada) has been delayed, unfortunately.

The first shipment arrived, but because of the warmer temperatures (think just a week ago…) the wreaths had “cooked” on their trip and were dried out. The wholesaler we are buying from rejected the order.

The newer, fresher shipment has still to arrive, but we are hopeful for next week. We are moving distribution to November 27, 12-3 pm. Because of the holiday, our team is happy to deliver to your door!

While this is disappointing, we are sure you want beautiful green wreaths and not brown ones with pine needles falling off! We appreciate your patience!

KRS Holiday Shop

The KRS Holiday Shop is almost here and we are so excited! The committee has put together a Sign Up Genius for parents who are interested in volunteering to help with this special event. Please use this link to sign up.

KRS Book Fair

The Book Fair is almost here!

Children will be browsing with their classes on Monday, 11/21 and purchasing on Tuesday, 11/22. The Book Fair will also be open on Monday from 4:30-6:30 for anyone interested in stopping by!

If you have graciously volunteered to help out at the book fair, please check your scheduled time slot here.

Payment options: Credit card, cash, checks (made out to KRS PTO) and e-wallet payment options all accepted.

This digital payment option can be used at the in-school Book Fair or online at the Virtual Book Fair, where you'll discover an expanded selection of over 5,000 products. KRS Parent Spotlight

We are introducing a new section of the PAW to highlight our amazing parents and caregivers! Check out these cool happenings.

Our KRS mom and PTO Communications Chair, Amanda Farough, wrote a book! What an amazing feat! It's called Digital Playgrounds: Our Kids & Video Games and is a helpful primer for understanding games as online spaces and some advice on how to talk about it all with your kid(s). Another Digital Playgrounds book will be due out in March 2023. You can pick up your copy online (here) or email Amanda for a signed copy.

Joy Suprano, KRS mom and actor on Apple+ TV’s Best Foot Forward, is starring in a new tv series that just launched last week! Joy’s newest show, Fleishman Is In Trouble, is great for the adults in the KRS community and is streaming on HULU. Joy co-stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Claire Danes in this New York City drama. Check it out!

Volunteer Love

Thank you to Erin Donadio for working alongside Mr. Levine and the KRS Student Council in initiating a successful Thanksgiving Food Drive which provided food for 75 families in need! Absolutely incredible! We are very thankful for your generous donations and to all who were involved in this remarkable feat!
