First General PTO Meeting for 2022-2023 School Year

We sincerely hope that you will join us to discuss current happenings in our school — or whatever is on your mind! — on October 6th at 7:30 pm.

We will be meeting in the multi-purpose room at KRS. Coffee and snacks will be served. We are hoping to live-stream the meeting for those of you who cannot attend.

"Putting Your Best Foot Forward" Assembly (Monday, Oct. 3)

With special guests Logan Marmino and Joy Suprano

An assembly that brings awareness to how we view and treat the special needs community. A chance to learn firsthand from a middle school amputee (Logan Marmino) how we can put our best foot forward regarding inclusion, awareness, and acceptance.

Bonus: this middle school amputee also happens to be an actor starring in a hit Apple+ TV show.

KRS PTO Directory

As we await the district's online directory Mobil Arq (which we have heard is coming VERY soon), we are collecting information for a PTO directory. In order to create our own directory, we need your help. We need your most up to date information to be included in the KRS PTO Directory as quickly as possible.

Please note that you only need to fill out ONE form per family.

Please respond via the Google Form link below ASAP if you wish to submit your family's information. We can only include your information if you provide consent by filling out the form below.  You only need to provide the information you would like to see in the directory. Please note that the directory is only available to families at KRS and we do not share your information.

The KRS PTO Directory is a helpful resource which includes student and family names and contact information. The directory is DIFFERENT from MobilArq which you may have already provided consent for when you signed the paperwork in Genesis at the start of the school year.

Fall is here! Time for the Annual KRS Pumpkins and Poems Celebration!

Here is your chance to decorate a pumpkin however you want! Gourds count too! (Parents - Kids must do the work.) You may also choose to write a Fall or Halloween themed poem, or do both!

Please bring all submissions to the front hall on FRIDAY, October 28th from 8:10-8:30am. Parents can assist in carrying the Pumpkins & Poems to the tables if necessary. Look for the table reserved for your class and pick a prize from the cauldron.
