Fall Fest: It’s an all hands on deck type of event! Truly, we need you. Help us make magic for the children. ¡Es un tipo de evento en el que todos están manos a la obra! En verdad, te necesitamos. Ayúdanos a hacer magia para los niños.

Meet the Masters: What’s Meet the Masters? The Meet the Masters Elementary School Art experience begins with a multimedia presentation followed by a fun interactive art lesson and project with the assigned artist. Through music, books, slides, posters, and videos, the children learn about the fascinating lives and famous works of Master Artists. *No art knowledge or experience is needed to volunteer for this program*

La experiencia de arte de Meet the Masters Elementary School comienza con una presentación multimedia seguida de una divertida lección de arte interactiva y un proyecto con el artista asignado. A través de música, libros, diapositivas, carteles y vídeos, los niños aprenden sobre las fascinantes vidas y las famosas obras de los artistas maestros. * No se necesitan conocimientos artísticos ni experiencia para ser voluntario en este programa *

Fall Fest is Coming

What’s fall fest? Simply put, it’s a celebration of the season. Join us on Friday, October 13th from 4:00-5:30 p.m. for a free and fun community building event on the KRS grounds. There’ll be stories, crafts, games, a scavenger hunt, grade level scarecrow building, music, and snacks.

This is a BYO blanket event as we’ll have some seasonal classics like Room on the Broom playing for anyone who wants to sit and rest while sipping on some cider.

You must sign up here to attend. Of important note, this event is open solely to KRS families. Additionally, this event will be held rain or shine. Finally, this event will require direct parent chaperones. Each child(ren)in attendance will need their own family chaperone. 

¿Qué es el festival de otoño? En pocas palabras, es una celebración de la temporada. Únase a nosotros el viernes 13 de octubre de 4:00 a 5:30 p. m. para un evento gratuito y divertido de creación de comunidad en los terrenos de KRS. Habrá cuentos, manualidades, juegos, búsqueda del tesoro, construcción de espantapájaros de nivel de grado, música y refrigerios. Este es un evento general BYO, ya que tendremos algunos clásicos de temporada como Room on the Broom para cualquiera que quiera sentarse y descansar mientras bebe un poco de sidra. Debes registrarte aquí para asistir. Es importante destacar que este evento está abierto únicamente a familias de KRS. Además, este evento se llevará a cabo llueva o haga sol. Finalmente, este evento requerirá padres acompañantes directos. Cada niño(s) que asista necesitará su propio acompañante familiar.

Red Envelope Reminder

LAST CALL! If you haven’t yet paid your dues, please do so! Please make checks payable to the KRS PTO and/or Venmo @KRS-Treasurer. Dues for K-4 are 60.00 Due to special traditions and experiences, 5th grade dues are 75.00 We are reliant upon dues to make programming possible while enriching the school day for students, faculty, and staff. Please don’t delay!

¡ÚLTIMA LLAMADA! Si aún no has pagado tus cuotas, ¡hazlo! Haga los cheques a nombre de KRS PTO y/o Venmo @KRS-Treasurer. Las cuotas para K-4 son 60.00. Debido a tradiciones y experiencias especiales, las cuotas para quinto grado son 75.00. Dependemos de las cuotas para hacer posible la programación y al mismo tiempo enriquecer la jornada escolar para los estudiantes, profesores y personal.

Pumpkins and Poems

Pumpkins and Poems is a fun PTO contest that runs in late October. Please see the flier in English or Spanish for important entry information and due dates. 

If you are in the building volunteering, you must sign in at the office. You cannot leave your volunteer assignment to visit other places in the building. Taking pictures of children is prohibited. We have a very generous agreement with the administration in terms of volunteering. Any volunteer who violates the rules puts our PTO’s agreement to protect and respect the privacy of children, faculty, and staff at risk. We thank you for cooperating and ensuring our volunteerism adheres to the rules put forth.

Si está en el edificio como voluntario, debe registrarse en la oficina. No puedes abandonar tu asignación de voluntario para visitar otros lugares del edificio. Está prohibido tomar fotografías de niños. Tenemos un acuerdo muy generoso con la administración en materia de voluntariado. Cualquier voluntario que viole las reglas pone en riesgo el acuerdo de nuestro PTO de proteger y respetar la privacidad de los niños, los profesores y el personal.
