Service Project

Now through Friday, October 4 (the Feast of St. Francis) , our PK, Kindergarten, and First Grade are sponsoring a service project to collect items for Special Pals to help abandoned animals.  We invite all families to contribute.

Please click here  for a list of needed items.

Please click here  for more information on Special Pals.

Special Pals is a no-kill, nonprofit, Houston area animal shelter that relies on donations. Their mission is to make a measurable and sustainable difference in the pet population by offering affordable pet care services, rescue and rehabilitation, finding forever homes, and providing responsible pet ownership education.

Pope Francis has established September 1 as an annual World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. Pope Francis wishes to remind us that we are called to be protectors of God's handiwork and this includes the care for God's creatures, great and small.

St. Francis of Assisi also had a devotion to God that was expressed through his love for all of God's creation. St. Francis cared for the poor and sick, he preached sermons to animals, and praised all creatures as brothers and sisters under God.

8th grade students will receive a yearbook provided by the school.

To ensure that we have a safe and efficient
morning and afternoon carpool,
please keep these important reminders in mind:
  • Instructions given by the police officers/traffic guards are for your safety and MUST be followed.
  • Please DO NOT use cell phones when the carpool line is moving.  We will stop you and ask you to put the cell phone away.
  • Second dismissal cars are NOT to arrive on campus until 3:10 pm. We cannot stress this enough! Second dismissal cars who arrive early block the line for first dismissal cars and prevent access to the entire campus for visitors. It is stressful for little ones who have to wait until second dismissal simply because their car was blocked by early arriving cars.
  • Thank you for your attention to these important matters that keep our carpool safe!

The 7th Annual St. Michael Catholic School Golf Classic will be held
Monday, September 30th at Riverbend Country Club.

This fundraiser tournament is a celebrated opportunity for parents, grandparents, alumni, business partners, parishioners and friends to enjoy a fun day of fellowship and sport in support of SMCS.

Please see the links below to learn more information on our various sponsorship levels or to register as a Tiger Player.
Each player will receive a Peter Millar Golf Polo.

If you have any questions or would like to sign up to volunteer at the event,
please email  MBerckley@stmichaelcs.org .
We look forward to seeing you September 30th on the course!
