ST. LUKE'S FORMER TRUSTEE COFFEE

It was a pleasure to welcome some of our past and present board of trustees to our campus this week. We took the opportunity to share with them all the exciting developments happening at St. Luke's, and we were grateful for their presence. Their steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment to our school is truly admirable and greatly appreciated.

ST. LUKE'S STUDENTS STAND OUT AT LOCAL COLLEGE FAIR

St. Luke's recently teamed up with St. Paul's, McGill, UMS, and ASMS (and several other schools) to host the Bay Area Consortium College Fair, which was held at UMS. The event was a huge success, with 62 colleges and over 400 students in attendance.

St. Luke's College Counselor, Ms. Eudy, expressed her excitement to the faculty stating, "I just want to take a moment to say kudos to all of you teachers and leaders of St. Luke's students! Last night, at the college fair, we had 15 Ambassadors to represent St. Luke's. I am being honest when I say that they were the nicest, most well-behaved, best-looking group there! It was hosted at UMS, and they are the only school to have more representation! As a new member of this school, I was very proud, and I want you to know the great job you are doing here!"

VOLLEYBALL SENIOR NIGHT 2023

Congratulations to the St. Luke's Volleyball seniors! We would like to express our gratitude for their contributions to the team. Each senior, and their parents, have spent an inordinate amount of time, effort, and resources to be a Wildcat!

We hope they’ve learned MORE than just what it’s like to win or lose. We trust they’ve learned valuable lessons on teamwork, dedication, pride, and the joy of the game.

As we look proudly at our seniors, we pray they know how much they mean to us and hope the memories made with St. Luke’s Volleyball will be cherished forever.

Remember, ONCE A WILDCAT, ALWAYS AND FOREVER A WILDCAT!

ST. LUKE'S NAMED "5 COASTAL ALABAMA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES TO WATCH IN WEEK 6" BY AL.COM

St. Luke's (5-0) will play at Leroy (3-0) at Bobby Farish Field in Leroy tonight, 9/29/23 at 7:00 p.m. Below is what AL.com had to say.

"The skinny: Leroy leads the overall series 5-2, including a 13-0 win last year. … The Wildcats are 5-0 for the first time in school history. They played their first varsity season in 2010. … QB Jeremy Menhennett scored on a 10-yard run last week and threw a 2-yard TD pass to Keelan Johnson. Turner Tillman was a key on offense and defense. He finished with 11 solo tackles, two assists, a sack and two tackles for a loss and also had 95 yards rushing. St. Luke’s coach Ronn Lee is 41-50 in his ninth year with the Wildcats and 137-169 in 29 years overall. … This is expected to be the final game of the season for Leroy coach Jason Massey, a member of the National Guard who is being deployed in October. His Bears won the 1A state title a year ago and have been ranked No. 1 all season in the Alabama Sports Writers Association rankings. They’ve won 16 of their last 17 games overall. In three games this year, Leroy has scored 115 points and allowed just 19."
