VETERANS DAY 2025 (NOVEMBER 11)

Both the Japonica and the University Campuses will have special Veterans Day events on

Tuesday, November 11.

The University Campus will begin the day with a breakfast for our veterans and family members from 7:00-7:45 a.m., followed by a special assembly at 8:00 a.m. in the Moorer Center for the Performing Arts.

At 10:00 a.m., the Japonica Campus will have a special program of patriotic music and performances provided by our 5th-grade students. Following the program, there will be a reception in St. Luke’s Hall for our veterans and their family members.

PENNIES FOR PATRIOTS (NOVEMBER 10-21)

During the month of November, we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country. In that spirit, our school will be participating in a special project called Pennies for Patriots. This is a simple but meaningful way for our students to show their

appreciation for our veterans.

From November 10–21, 2025, students are invited to bring in small change —pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters — to place in the Pennies for Patriots jars in their classrooms. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a heartfelt way to say “thank you” to those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

At the end of the campaign, the funds collected will be donated to support local veterans’ organizations. This project helps our students learn the importance of gratitude, generosity, and community service.

Thank you for helping us make a difference as we honor our heroes this Veterans Month!

TRUMBAUER SHOWCASE (NOVEMBER 16)

If you would like to see our theatre department's award-winning Individual Events, as well as the Studio Piece, join us for our 2nd Annual Fall Showcase on November 16th at 5 p.m.!
