SPRINGFEST 2025: A MEMORABLE CELEBRATION
Springfest 2025 was certainly an event to remember! What was not supposed to be a rainy day turned out to be a VERY rainy day! However, we didn't let the rain dampen the St. Luke's spirit! The resilience and adaptability displayed by everyone is what makes St. Luke’s special. We are thankful for the makeup day for relays. The black team emerged victorious, claiming the title for this year’s Springfest!

ST. LUKE'S BAND SHINES AT SOLO AND ENSEMBLE EVENT
The St. Luke’s band recently participated in a solo and ensemble performance with the Alabama Bandmasters Association, showcasing the incredible talents of our students. Eleven solos and small groups took the stage to perform for the judges. Three of our ensembles were awarded medals for superior performance, highlighting the exceptional skill and hard work of the students involved:
- Ashton Roberts, Riley Winchester, Dylan Driskell, and Oliver Lyons
- Rhys Hollaway and Coaker Smith
- Zoey Driskell and Hannah Kooienga
The dedication and passion of all participating students reflect the high standards of our music program at St. Luke's. We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.

ST. LUKE'S TRACK & FIELD TEAM: STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS
The St. Luke’s Track and Field team delivered an impressive performance at the state championship, with the boys achieving a remarkable 4th place overall and the girls securing 6th place.
Brooks Musial showcased his talent by earning a 2nd place finish in the shot put and a 3rd place in the discus. Karlos Williams excelled in the long jump and 400M, securing 2nd place in both events. The 4x400M relay team, consisting of Ethan Bowie, Sawyer Smith, Collin Sahawneh, and Karlos Williams, also earned a 2nd place finish, demonstrating outstanding teamwork and speed.
In the 400M, Kenlee Hamilton claimed 3rd place with a strong performance. The team of Kenlee Hamilton, Megan McDonough, Lottie Perloff, and Armahni Coleman impressed in the 4x100M relay, finishing 2nd. Additionally, the relay team of Sophie Dolbear, Calista Conway, Megan McDonough, and Kenlee Hamilton secured a 3rd place finish in the 400M relay, highlighting their determination and skill.

GIRLS SOCCER TEAM ADVANCES TO 4A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The St. Luke's girls' soccer team is heading to the 4A state championship game today at 11:30 a.m. against St. John Paul II. This exciting opportunity comes after a 7-1 victory over Westminster Oak Mountain. Our girls have shown exceptional skill and determination throughout the season, and we are thrilled to support them as they vie for the championship title. Let's rally behind our team and cheer them on to a blue map!

BOYS SOCCER TEAM CONCLUDES A STELLAR SEASON
Our boys' soccer team deserves a round of applause for their remarkable journey to the 4A Semifinals. They played a hard-fought match against Westminster Oak Mountain, narrowly missing victory with a 0-1 score. Despite the outcome, the boys displayed tremendous sportsmanship and dedication. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the spirit they brought to the field this season. Their perseverance and teamwork have inspired us all!

EXPIRED & OUTDATED MEDICAL SUPPLIES NEEDED
The Biomedical Science Program at St. Luke's is already preparing for next year. Our activities and skills labs rely heavily on donated supplies. If you have any of the following or other items we might be able to use, we would appreciate it! You can drop off on the University campus or contact Diane McCleery at dmccleery@slesmobile.org to arrange pickup.

The hours are: Wednesdays & Fridays during break, after school Wednesday 3:00 - 3:30 p.m., and other special hours will be announced.
We will be adding merchandise, so please fill out this suggestion form
to let us know what you would like to see for sale in the future.
All proceeds of the Online Campus Store go to school programs and supplies.
We will deliver purchases to your student unless you request to pick-up.
