REFER A FAMILY. EARN A $500 TUITION CREDIT
We love it when our St. Luke’s families share their experience with others! If you refer a new family and they enroll at St. Luke’s, your family will receive a $500 tuition credit as our way of saying thank you.
Word of mouth is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. If you know a family who would thrive in our nurturing environment and strong academic programs, encourage them to explore St. Luke’s.
When they enroll and list your family as the referral, you’ll earn a $500 credit toward your tuition.
Thank you for helping our St. Luke’s community grow!

BE THE VOICE FOR ST. LUKE'S: YOUR IMPACT MATTERS
As you may know, word-of-mouth remains one of the most powerful drivers of enrollment, with 88% of people trusting recommendations from friends and peers over traditional advertising. It’s a high-impact, low-cost way to share what makes St. Luke’s so special—and each of you plays an important role in
that story.
We invite you to help spread the word in a simple yet meaningful way. One easy step is updating your social media profile picture with the St. Luke’s logo (below). It only takes a few seconds but helps increase visibility and awareness within your network.
If someone reaches out to you with interest in St. Luke’s, there’s no need to feel like you have to have all the answers. Simply connect them with Hilary DeArmon at hdearmon@slesmobile.org, and she will gladly take it from there.
Thank you for being such an important part of our community and for helping share the St. Luke’s story!

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS SOLVE MEDICAL MYSTERIES
Students recently stepped into the role of medical professionals, assigned a detailed patient case to investigate. Each case included symptoms along with results from a comprehensive set of tests, including temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and pulse. Students also examined more advanced data, including a neurological exam, nerve conduction velocity test, EMG, and spinal fluid analysis.
Using this information, students analyzed the data and determined a possible diagnosis—just like
real doctors.
To take their learning even further, students then conducted a hands-on lab by dissecting a lamb's brain. Each brain had been injected with a gel in a specific area to simulate a medical issue. Through careful dissection, students worked to locate the affected region and connect their findings back to their
original diagnosis.
This hands-on experience allowed students to combine critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application in an unforgettable way!

A SWEET TRADITION COMES TO LIFE IN POTTERY CLASS
St. Luke’s Pottery students are exploring a unique Easter tradition that dates back to the 1800s known as Panoramic Sugar Eggs. These intricate creations were originally made by packing sugar into large egg molds to form a hollow shell, complete with a tiny three-dimensional springtime scene inside.
Inspired by this historic craft, our students are designing and creating their own Panoramic Sugar Eggs using clay. Each piece features a miniature scene that reflects the creativity and charm of the
original tradition.
Through this project, students are blending art, history, and imagination to bring their designs to life. We look forward to seeing their finished masterpieces!

We are incredibly proud of our Wildcats who represented St. Luke’s at the Alabama All-State Choir last weekend! Selected singers from across the state gathered at Samford University for this prestigious event, culminating in a remarkable performance after two days of intensive rehearsals.
St. Luke’s students Riley Winchester, Oliver Lyons, Dylan Driskell, and Landon Villegas were among approximately 200 of Alabama’s top vocalists chosen to participate in the Alabama Vocal Association (AVA) All-State Choir.
Congratulations to these talented singers for this outstanding achievement and for representing St. Luke’s with excellence!

YOUNG INVENTORS AT WORK IN THE
JAPONICA CAMPUS SCIENCE LAB
In the Japonica Campus Science Lab, students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by inventing and demonstrating new toy prototypes. From clever designs to hands-on demonstrations, each student showcased innovation, engineering skills, and a passion for bringing ideas to life. It was a fun and engaging way to explore the scientific process while thinking like inventors!

BRINGING THE GREAT GATSBY TO LIFE THROUGH CREATIVITY
Mrs. Steiner’s English 11 students recently brought literature to life with a hands-on project inspired by The Great Gatsby. After studying the novel’s themes of wealth, class, and the American Dream, students were challenged to design their own themed food trucks reflecting key characters, symbols, and social dynamics from the story.
From extravagant, Gatsby-inspired desserts to simple “Valley of Ashes” comfort foods, each food truck demonstrated thoughtful and creative connections to the text.
This engaging project encouraged students to think critically, collaborate creatively, and present their ideas both visually and verbally—proving that literature can spark not only analysis, but
imagination as well.
