COMMUNITY SUPPORT SPARKS CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS
Thanks to the generosity of donors who believe in the power of education and innovation, St. Luke’s has made meaningful enhancements to the campus.
The J.L. Bedsole Foundation continues to invest in our Student Safety and Wellness Initiative. This year, the Foundation is supporting the first stage of upgrading our fire safety infrastructure, which will begin this summer. We are grateful to receive a $40,000 grant to help create a more secure environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
There was a noticeable difference at the Legally Blonde Jr. performance. The Dr. Monte L. Moorer Foundation provided $50,000 to install new lighting in the Louise R. Moorer Performing Arts Center, enhancing performances and enriching the arts experience at St. Luke's.
Thanks to Hargrove Engineers, our Robotics program will be equipped with a state-of-the-art CNC robot router, giving students hands-on experience with advanced technology used in real-world engineering.
The Crampton Trust has granted St. Luke's $25,000 for technology upgrades. Through the St. Luke's STEM+M VIBE (Visionary Initiative for Building Excellence), we aim to provide students and teachers with enhanced curriculum modules and access to a VIBE classroom kit, consisting of a ViewSonic board and iPads. This kit and the curriculum modules will allow for progressive, interactive, engaging lessons.
We are grateful for these incredible contributions that impact learning, creativity, and the student experience daily.
