CELEBRATING TOGETHER AT THE THANKSGIVING FEAST

It was a wonderful opportunity for students, parents, and staff to come together, share in the spirit of gratitude, and enjoy a festive celebration. Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this event so special!

GRADE-UP GLIMPSE SPARKS EXCITEMENT FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR!

St. Luke’s Grade-Up Glimpse was a total success! Our K4–4th grade students had a wonderful time visiting their classrooms and meeting their teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. It was the perfect opportunity for our students to get excited about “what’s next” and begin looking forward to a fantastic year ahead.

PENNIES FOR PATRIOTS SUCCESS

Pennies for Patriots was a huge success, and we are so proud of our students for stepping up to support such a meaningful cause.

ST. LUKE'S COACHES ATTEND STATE ASAHPERD CONFERENCE

Coach Law and Coach McNider recently attended the annual Alabama State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (ASAHPERD) Conference in Birmingham. They enjoyed collaborating with hundreds of P.E. teachers and health professionals from across the state while staying up to date on the latest trends in physical education.

Both coaches were especially excited to learn new techniques for incorporating technology and cross-curricular activities into our P.E. program. We’re grateful for their dedication and enthusiasm—it's always inspiring to bring fresh ideas back to our students!

THANK YOU TO OUR WINTER WONDERLAND VOLUNTEERS

A huge thank-you to Jamie Seale, Sueanna Bryant, and all of the wonderful volunteers who helped transform our Japonica Campus into a magical Winter Wonderland for our students returning from Thanksgiving Break. Your creativity, hard work, and holiday spirit brought so much joy to our school.
We are grateful for your time and talent in making this season feel extra special for our students!

8th GRADE STUDENTS EXPLORE THROUGH

HANDS-ON DISSECTION IN MEDICAL DETECTIVES CLASS

Our middle school students participated in a hands-on learning experience by dissecting sheep brains, which are structurally and functionally very similar to the human brain. This engaging lab allowed students to explore the structure and function of the brain up close, reinforcing their study of the nervous system in a meaningful and memorable way. We love seeing our students dive into science with such curiosity and enthusiasm!

K5 STUDENTS ENJOY HOLIDAY STEM+M FUN AT

THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

Our K5 Littles had a wonderful time visiting the University Campus STEM+M Center for festive Christmas activities! Students enjoyed a hands-on STEM+M Christmas project, complete with holiday music and special time spent with their “Bigs.” It was a joyful blend of learning, creativity, and Christmas spirit—one of the many things that make our Littles & Bigs program so special!
