REFER A FAMILY. EARN A $500 TUITION CREDIT
We love it when our St. Luke’s families share their experience with others! If you refer a new family and they enroll at St. Luke’s, your family will receive a $500 tuition credit as our way of saying thank you.
Word of mouth is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. If you know a family who would thrive in our nurturing environment and strong academic programs, encourage them to explore St. Luke’s.
When they enroll and list your family as the referral, you’ll earn a $500 credit toward your tuition.
Thank you for helping our St. Luke’s community grow!

BE THE VOICE FOR ST. LUKE'S: YOUR IMPACT MATTERS
As you may know, word-of-mouth remains one of the most powerful drivers of enrollment, with 88% of people trusting recommendations from friends and peers over traditional advertising. It’s a high-impact, low-cost way to share what makes St. Luke’s so special—and each of you plays an important role in
that story.
We invite you to help spread the word in a simple yet meaningful way. One easy step is updating your social media profile picture with the St. Luke’s logo (below). It only takes a few seconds but helps increase visibility and awareness within your network.
If someone reaches out to you with interest in St. Luke’s, there’s no need to feel like you have to have all the answers. Simply connect them with Hilary DeArmon at hdearmon@slesmobile.org, and she will gladly take it from there.
Thank you for being such an important part of our community and for helping share the St. Luke’s story!

PEEP, PEEP, HOORAY!
Our classrooms were full of tiny peeps and lots of smiles as Ms. Watson welcomed Japonica Campus students to meet her newly hatched baby chicks! After days of anticipation, the chicks finally arrived, bringing excitement and joy to students of all ages.
Ms. Watson and her class worked diligently to care for the eggs, learning responsibility and patience throughout the process. Seeing the chicks hatch was a rewarding moment and a wonderful hands-on learning experience.
Thank you to Ms. Watson and her students for sharing this special moment with our school community—it was truly something to chirp about!

STEPPING INTO A CLASSIC: 8th GRADE VISITS MONROEVILLE
Our 8th-grade students recently traveled to Monroeville for a memorable field trip to see a live performance of To Kill a Mockingbird at the historic courthouse featured in the novel.
Experiencing the story in the very setting that inspired Harper Lee’s classic novel brought it to life in a powerful way. Students were able to connect what they’ve read in the classroom to a live performance, deepening their understanding of the characters, themes, and historical context.
The trip provided a meaningful opportunity to explore literature, history, and culture all in one place—making it a day our students won’t soon forget.

HANDS ON LEARNING: D'ANTHONY BRINGS FORENSIC SCIENCE TO LIFE - BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE OUTREACH
St. Luke’s student D’Anthony recently led an engaging outreach experience with the second grade class at the Lower Campus, introducing students to the fascinating world of forensic science.
During his presentation, D’Anthony taught students about fingerprinting and its important role in identifying individuals and solving crimes. He began by explaining the basics of forensic science, how fingerprints are formed, and the three main fingerprint patterns—loops, whorls, and arches. His goal was to show how science connects to real-world careers in a way that was both educational and exciting for young learners.
Following the presentation, students participated in a hands-on activity where they created their own fingerprints on balloons using ink or washable paint. This interactive experience allowed them to clearly see their unique fingerprint patterns and compare them with classmates, reinforcing the concept that no two fingerprints are alike.
Each student took their fingerprint balloon home, leaving them with a fun and memorable reminder of what they learned. D’Anthony’s outreach not only sparked curiosity but also inspired students to begin thinking about future possibilities in science.

GLOBAL CONNECTIONS:
GERMAN EXCHANGE STUDENTS VISIT ST. LUKE'S
Coach Seamus Russell, AP History teacher, recently coordinated a German American Partnership Program, welcoming eight exchange students from Egbert-Gymnasium Münsterschwarzach in Bavaria to St. Luke’s. During their visit, the students shadowed their hosts and spent time in classrooms, gaining a firsthand look at daily life on campus. They were excited to experience both Mobile and the St. Luke’s community. A special thank you to our student hosts—Raina Gupta, Jenna Simpson, Olivia Frye, Reese Browning, Zachary Robinson, and Carsten Hall—for sharing their time and hospitality to make this visit such a meaningful exchange.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: ANNA MARIE BENTLEY SELECTED FOR COMPETITIVE NURSING GRANT
We are proud to celebrate St. Luke’s alumna Anna Marie Bentley (Class of 2022) on her selection to the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing’s Nurse Education, Practice, Quality and Retention Registered Nurse Training Program (NEPQR-RNTP) grant—an incredible honor awarded to only eight students.
This highly competitive program provides nursing students with enhanced clinical and academic training during the final 12 months of their BSN program. Its mission is to increase the number of nurses prepared to work in acute care settings while addressing social determinants of health, improving health equity, and strengthening health literacy in underserved communities.
The NEPQR-RNTP is designed to equip new graduate nurses with the clinical expertise and professional confidence needed to serve as integral members of the healthcare system. Through this program, students gain expanded skills that prepare them to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive care and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Anna Marie’s selection reflects her dedication, compassion, and commitment to the nursing profession. We are incredibly proud of her and look forward to the difference she will make in the lives of others.

14TH ANNUAL BIOMEDICAL CAPSTONE PRESENTATIONS
You’re Invited: 14th Annual Biomedical Capstone Presentations!
Attached are the official invitation and speaker list, including presentation topics, for our 14th Annual Biomedical Capstone Presentations.
