Celebrating Success: A Testament to Community Support at St. Luke's
We are deeply grateful for your support—your partnership over the past academic year has been the cornerstone of our success at St. Luke’s. Because of your generosity, our students have thrived in a vibrant, nurturing environment—excelling not only in the classroom but also in the arts and the athletic fields.
Our graduating seniors have much to celebrate: the Class of 2025 achieved a 100% college acceptance rate, 25% earned a score of 30 or higher on the ACT, and together, they were awarded over $5 million in college scholarships. Their accomplishments are a testament to their hard work and the community that has supported them every step of the way.
We're excited to share where they’re headed next. Click here to watch the video.
If you’d like to continue making a difference in the lives of our students, we invite you to consider a gift today.

ST. LUKE'S AFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN STEM+M BY ADOPTING A NEW K-5th GRADE THROUGH ALGEBRA 1 MATH CURRICULUM INITIATIVE
St. Luke's continues to elevate our commitment to becoming the premier STEM+M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine) school in the region by strengthening the foundational skills that fuel academic and career success, beginning with mathematics.
To this point, our faculty is working hard this summer, planning for the upcoming school year.
Many attended a professional development and training workshop on implementing the Into Math curriculum across grades K-5 through Algebra I. They participated in specialized training sessions designed to enhance instructional strategies and improve student outcomes through intentional curriculum scaffolding.
As a college-preparatory school, we recognize that strong math skills are crucial for students to succeed in college and life. This initiative is more than a curriculum change; it’s a strategic investment in our students’ futures.
Parents Can Expect:
- A cohesive and rigorous math program aligned with state and national standards
- Greater emphasis on problem-solving, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking
- New digital tools to support personalized learning and track student progress
- Improved confidence and performance in mathematics through consistent, high-quality instruction
- Preparedness for upper-level math, standardized testing, and STEM+M pathways in high school and beyond
The Into Math program is widely recognized for its research-based approach and measurable results. It empowers students to develop a deep understanding of mathematics and apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, a skill set essential for 21st-century learners.
This workshop is just one part of a broader, strategic effort at St. Luke’s to ensure that math instruction is vertically aligned and developmentally scaffolded to meet the needs of every learner from Kindergarten through high school graduation.
We are excited to see the lasting impact this investment will have on academic growth and students’ enthusiasm for learning math. It is a key step in reinforcing the ‘math M’ in STEM+M at St. Luke’s.

MR. MUTCHNICK'S STEM CAMP:
A JOURNEY THROUGH SCIENCE & INNOVATION
Mr. Mutchnick's STEM Camp was a success! He introduced physics, chemistry, and engineering in fun, creative, and exciting ways. Throughout the camp, participants learned how boats float and how planes fly. They didn't just learn about the science behind different modes of transportation; they participated in designing, building, and testing their working models.
The fun didn't stop there. Students also explored the wonders of NASA and rocket design. They built their rockets and experienced the thrill of electronically launching them.
In addition to transportation and space exploration, the camp offered electrifying experiments. Students experienced 50,000 volts of static electricity using a Van de Graaf generator. They even produced a real sonic boom!
