A JOYFUL CELEBRATION: GRANDPARENTS DAY &

ANNUAL MARDI GRAS PARADE

St. Luke’s was filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories as we celebrated Grandparents Day along with our beloved annual Mardi Gras Parade!

We were so grateful to welcome grandparents and special guests to campus to experience a glimpse of daily life at St. Luke’s. From classroom visits to festive parade fun, the day was a beautiful reminder of the importance of family, tradition, and community.

Thank you to all who were able to attend and celebrate with us. We missed those who couldn’t make it this year, but we look forward to welcoming you in the future and continuing these

meaningful traditions together.

CELEBRATING OUR 2026 NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTEES

We are proud to congratulate the newest members of the 2026 National Honor Society! These exceptional students have demonstrated outstanding achievement in scholarship, leadership, service, and character — the four pillars that define the National Honor Society.

Induction into the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors a high school student can receive. Each inductee has shown a consistent commitment to academic excellence, a willingness to lead by example, a heart for serving others, and integrity both inside and outside the classroom.

We celebrate their hard work, dedication, and the positive impact they make in our school community every day. We look forward to seeing how they will continue to lead and serve in the year ahead.

Congratulations to our 2026 National Honor Society Inductees — we are so proud of you!

BEHIND THE SCENES OF SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL: YOUTH EDITION

Our Theater Tech class has been hard at work transforming ideas into reality as they prepare for our big upcoming spring musical, SpongeBob the Musical: Youth Edition —

and they are doing an absolutely amazing job!

From painting vibrant backdrops to building creative set pieces inspired by Bikini Bottom, these talented students are pouring their time, energy, and artistic skill into every detail. We are so proud of their dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence! Their hard work is setting the stage for a spectacular show! Be sure to come out and support the entire cast and crew this spring - you don't want to miss it! (More information about the show dates in the All-School Announcements below.)

MS. WATSON'S CLASS WINS AGAIN IN COASTAL KIDS QUIZ

Congratulations to Ms. Watson’s class for once again being selected to receive a $100 award following the third round of the Alabama Coastal Foundation’s Coastal Kids Quiz!

Their continued success highlights their hard work and enthusiasm for learning about Alabama’s unique coastal environment.

TURNING SIMPLE INTO SPECTACULAR:

PHYSICS STUDENTS BUILD RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINES

Upon gaining knowledge of basic machines, Mrs. Haynes’ physics students were tasked with designing and building a Rube Goldberg Machine. A Rube Goldberg machine is a contraption that is intentionally designed to perform simple tasks in overly complicated ways. Building a Rube Goldberg machine is an engaging, challenging, creative, and fun way to explore many different ideas in physics and put all of those ideas together to problem solve!
