SENIOR PRIVILEGE CEREMONY: CLASS OF 2025

Last Friday marked a memorable day for the Class of 2025 as they celebrated their Senior Privilege Ceremony. During the event, they wore their class t-shirts and received their St. Luke’s keychains, but what truly made the occasion special was the granting of their "Senior Privileges." The students were undoubtedly excited by the newfound freedoms bestowed upon them. Edmond Naman also graced the ceremony with his presence and delivered a remarkable speech emphasizing the importance of responsibility and privilege.

We finished the morning with a great reception for students and their parents.

CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENTS LEARN

ABOUT WOOD FRAME STRUCTURES

After learning about the different framing components for residential housing, students in Mrs. Haynes' Civil Engineering and Architecture class were asked to identify the primary parts of a traditional wood frame structure, describe the purpose of each, and then create a framing system for a tissue box house.

They will use this knowledge to design the framing system for a utility shed using Revit (a design program used for creating 3D models of architectural designs).

What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has gone on to inspire countless children and adults around the globe.
