It starts with 64 of Indiana's best charities,
But there's only one champion.

We made it to Round 2!

Our second match up is a formidable competitor:  Indianapolis Children's Choir.

Why It Matters.
The longer we can stay in the tournament, the more we raise.  The more we raise, the more lives we save. It's that simple.

Start Warming Up.
The round ends Friday at 8pm, so now's the time to
start stretching. We don't want anyone pulling a muscle
when it's game time!
1) Go to to set up your Brackets for Good account and save your credit card information in your profile so you can make quick shots
during the game.

2) Watch the game and live feed at

3) Once your account is set up, DONATE HERE to help us win the championship and $10K grand prize!

Play Smart.
The game is won or lost in the last 5 minutes of the game each Friday evening. The bracket closes at 8PM Brackets for Goo d time, so you'll need to  watch the live feed  closely and be ready to shoot before the shot clock sounds.

Buzzer Beaters.
When checking out, select the "Buzzer Beater" option. When you choose this, your donation will be doubled, with half posting atthe time of checkout and the remaining half posting just after the final buzzer on Friday at 8PM. GAMES ARE WON WITH BUZZER BEATERS! This is the best way to keep our opponents guessing...and ensure we make it to the next round.

The War Room.
It's not too late to join our War Room on Friday  or play virtually.  If you've got a competitive spirit and think you've got some 3 point donations up your sleeve, email me at: You don't have to attend to play...but if you do, I'll disclose the classified location where we meet each Friday from 7PM-8PM to strategize our big finish!

Thank you for supporting our life-saving efforts!

Daisy's Happily Ever After
"My son Eddie and I went to the Hamilton County Humane Society to see if there was a dog who would be a good fit for our active family of 5 and loving cat. Our family was thinking that a 2-3 year old cat would be a good fit; however, as we walked in the kennel, we noticed Delaney, age 5. She was sitting quietly, looking very scared just looking up at us. We visited with her in the outside play area and she sniffed around a bit and then came up to me and rested against my leg. We fell in love with her!
We have been blessed with these sweet angel who is now "Daisy". She is the most loving, sweet, calm dog I've ever been around. She just loves to hang out with us and has been wonderful with our cat, Denver. Daisy loves car rides, going for walks, snuggles, and sleeping with us by our heads. She also gets to come to my office and loves hanging out their with staff and clients.
The joy in our family has increased ten-fold since Daisy joined us. I CANNOT say enough good things about the Hamilton County Humane Society and what they do for those sweet animals in their care."
Love, Daisy's Family
We want to hear your happy adoption tails.
Paws of the Month
Meet Diamond
Diamond's life so far hasn't been easy and we are looking for the perfect family to show her true love. Her previous owner surrendered her in early June ... and she came to us with a shocking story. Diamond had been used for breeding, mothering over 30 puppies.
Diamond would prefer a home without cats and older children. She is a bit timid at first, so a meet and greet with the whole family and any dogs in the house would help for a smooth transition! Our sweet baby loves treats and toys - there is never a dull moment with this Diamond around!

Please come visit Diamond today!

Meet Rawr-Rawr
Don't even think about calling Rawr-Rawr a senior citizen.  He may be 14-years-old, but he has lots of life and love left in him!
This handsome cat came to us in January due to his family developing allergies. Rawr is so unhappy at the shelter and longs for a home where he can roam around and nap on laps. He can't wait for his forever home to love him and give him all he needs - love.
Rawr-Rawr can be shy at first, but after adjusting to his new space, he is quite the cuddlebug! As our current office kitty, he spends his days curled up in his house or on a lap.
Rawr needs you to open your heart - his golden years are here and they bring joy to all he meets. Give this senior a home today!

Volunteer of the Month
Nathan Casto-Burman
Nathan has been a volunteer with HSHC since August 2015 and has logged over 155 lifetime hours.  He is one of our cattery volunteers and can usually be found loving on our kitties in our community cat room with his mentor Sara Jo.
"I love coming in to volunteer weekly because I'm such an animal lover. While I volunteer, I typically give the cats love and I feel like I get love right back. I like helping them feel closer to humans. Second of all, I like to give back to the community by volunteering my time to a good cause. And thirdly, i like to volunteer because it looks good on my resume and I hope to work with animals someday!" - Nathan
Sarah Jo, Nathan's mentor, said, "I have always loved animals and have felt a deep connection with the animals as I can remember. Volunteering at the humane society is a way I can use my time to give back to animals, and I get to enjoy myself as I'm surrounded by beautiful kitties! It truly is fun and rewarding."
Thank you for everything that you do for HSHC and the animals in our care, Nathan & Sara Jo!
