This means that you use your own network to explain what Paws in Prison means to you and encourage them to donate. IF EVERYONE ON THIS NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTION LIST RAISES JUST $33 FROM THEIR FRIENDS, FAMILY, COWORKERS, ETC, WE CAN REACH OUR GOAL!

Even if it seems like a small donation, there are matching grants for categories such as the most donors so even little contributions can add up! We depend on these funds from this local event to survive the year.

Speaking of Champions....Did you know that one of our dogs is now a recognized AGILITY competitor?

"I officially adopted Bo from Paws in Prison in July 2023. Bo was rescued into the program as a puppy and trained by the inmates. When I adopted him, he was trained on ALL of the basic skills needed to do just about anything. Sit, down, stay, heel, house-broken, etc. …all of the basic stuff. But then he also had target training and other more advanced skills that lent themselves very well to agility. After only a few months of agility training, I entered Bo into his first AKC agility competition. He was a little nervous at first, but soon he settled in and really started having fun. Twenty-two blue ribbons later (yes, he has won every class he qualified for), he is a superstar. He is a SWEET, sweet boy who would be very happy to hug all day, but when he enters the ring, his competitive fire emerges. I want to thank Paws in Prison for their amazing program. Without them, Bo would never have had a chance at life, and now I’m confident you’ll be seeing him on ESPN within the next year or so. Bo has been truly life changing for me, and I’m so GRATEFUL." -Jeff
