2025 Apollo Awards


What an amazing night at the 2025 Apollo Awards, filled with incredible performances and a celebration of our outstanding musicians and their musical achievements! The success of our RB musicians would not be possible without our music teachers, the Music & Theatre Sponsors, and the families that support our students’ passions. Special Olympics Track & Field Regionals


Five athletes represented RB at the Special Olympics Illinois Spring Track and Field Regionals this past weekend! The weekend brought exciting results:


• Blaine Sharenow and Ivan Sofeski earned gold medals in the softball throw.

• William Robinson earned bronze in the 100M and gold in the softball throw.

• Ivan Sofeski and Blaine Sharenow each placed 4th in their 200M races.

• Anthony Arroyo took silver in the 100M and bronze in the softball throw.

• Jeffrey Cole earned bronze in the softball throw and placed 6th in the 50M.


Gold medalists have automatically qualified for the SOILL State Summer Games at Illinois State University this summer. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes and their accomplishments!

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 5-9!

May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for the RB teachers who go above and beyond for our students every day. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many! 💙🤍

Track & Field School Records


Congratulations to two of our Track & Field athletes, Brady Norman and Jorie Eggers, on setting new school records during their track season! Brady set a school record in the 2-Mile at 9:17.65, and Jorie set a record in the 400M at 59.95. Great job, Bulldogs!

IADA All-State Team Recognition


Congratulations to Max Strong on being named to the Inaugural Illinois Athletic Directors Association All-State team! This award honors students who excel in both academics and athletics across the 21 IADA Districts. Fantastic job!

Seal of Biliteracy Recognition


Congratulations to the 68 students who earned the Seal of Biliteracy and the 13 students who received the Commendation of Biliteracy! The State Seal of Biliteracy honors graduating seniors who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in both English and another language. The Commendation of Biliteracy recognizes students who have made significant progress toward achieving bilingual proficiency.

Spring Choir Concert


Congrats to our choir students on an amazing spring show, and a special shoutout to our seniors! Your talent and passion have left a lasting mark on the RB Choir program. We couldn’t be more proud of all you’ve accomplished in choir and beyond!

Varsity Softball @ Challengers Opening Game


On Saturday, the Varsity Softball team volunteered at Brookfield Little League Challengers opening game! The Challenger Division is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. The Buzz Squad had a great opening day!

Girls Soccer Chick-fil-A Fundraiser


Girls Soccer had a fun night serving others and raising money for the RB Soccer program! Thank you to Alexandra Botero and her friendly team at Chick-fil-A Broadview for the opportunity!

2025 Spring Art Show


Join the RBHS Art Department for the Spring Art Show on Tuesday, May 13 from 6–7 PM in the Art Pit! Enjoy student artwork and purchase handmade pottery filled with goodies. All proceeds will support local food banks and families in need.
