Hi Friends,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and your dogs were on their best behavior. Just a reminder, as you discard the last of your holiday feasts, that cooked bones are extremely dangerous for your pets. Please take extra care at home and walking your pups through your neighborhoods on trash day.

I know many of you are excited to get back to training with your dogs. I am looking forward to seeing you all for your dog's continuing education over the winter. Remember, training is a life-long process. The process of training and relationship building continues well beyond a simple Basic Manners or Puppy Kindergarten Class. Those are just the tip of the iceberg! The real magic happens when we take those basic skills, build upon them and apply them to real-world scenarios.

Just a quick note to remind my students in Maine that we have wrapped up our sessions at Ross Corner Animal Wellness Center until the spring, but you are welcome to come down to join us in NH. I will also have occasional availability on Wednesdays late afternoon for private consultations at Ross Corner through the winter if you have a specific need you would like addressed.

For my current MA, NH and southern Maine students who are familiar with the training space I rent at Seacoast Lucky Dog, the larger room I use in the warmer months is not heated, so I'm using the smaller (heated) training room. This means I have to limit enrollment for each class to account for less space to work dogs. Please keep this in mind and get your class applications in early to save a spot for your dog.

INTERMEDIATE MANNERS
Date: January 7 - February 18 (NO CLASS on January 14)
Day: Sunday
Time: 9:00 - 10:00 am
Location: Seacoast Lucky Dog (27 Lafayette Rd, Hampton Falls, NH 03844)
Class Description: Intermediate is the second half of our Puppy K and Basic Manners courses and required to move on to our more advanced level classes.
Pre-Requisites: Completion of Puppy K or Basic Manners with Pawsitive Steps or private instruction with Pawsitive Steps. Sorry, course completion at other training facilities do not meet this requirement.
Cost: $175

BASIC MANNERS
Date : January 7 - February 18 (NO CLASS on January 14)
Day: Sunday
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am
Location: Seacoast Lucky Dog (27 Lafayette Rd, Hampton Falls, NH 03844)
Class Description: Beginner class for dogs and puppies 5 months old and older at class start date
Pre-Requisites : None
Cost: $175

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN
Date: January 7 - February 18 (NO CLASS on January 14)
Day: Sunday
Time: 11:00 - 12:00 (noon)
Location: Seacoast Lucky Dog (27 Lafayette Rd, Hampton Falls, NH 03844)
Class Description: Beginner class for puppies under 5 months old at class start date.
Pre-Requisites: None
Cost: $175
