PayRange is rolling out a modular all-in-one payment device with a 4-inch full-color display which it says supports all credit card payment interfaces. The new BluCard reader is contained in a weather resistant enclosure.
Designed specifically for installation on machines to allow cashless payment with magnetic, proximity, vicinity, and contact EMV payment cards, the BluCard reader has a 4-inch full color display. Custom messages designed to interact with consumers can appear on the display to further drive mobile app awareness, downloads, and user adoption.
With the addition of BluCard, PayRange says it now offers its operators a total payment solution to capture all of their cashless needs, while also providing the additional revenue lift benefits of the PayRange network.
For operators adding BluCard to their existing PayRange enabled machines, transactions from the BluCard device will appear in their Manage dashboard alongside BluKeyTM transactions and can be sorted and filtered by the operator if they choose.

TriTeq Lock & Security LLC, a solution provider of electronic locks and monitoring technology in vending and micro-market retail, today announced the NAMA certification of the FreshIQ retrofit lock for CoolBlu from Premium Products Group, LLC (PPG). PPG a leading-edge manufacturer of coolers designed for micro-market applications.
The TriTeq FreshIQ lock provides a connection to FreshTraq, a cloud-based monitoring system for cooler and freezers offering alerts and remote capability to lock or unlock doors. PPG has received feedback from some prominent micro-market operators that non-compatibility with FreshTraq would be a hindrance to sales. “Our team has been working to sell CoolBlu coolers to several large operators and the stumbling block was the lack of interface to the TriTeq FreshTraq monitoring system,” said Tom Vogt, President of PPG. “Operators rely on FreshTraq for service notifications which allow them to take immediate action to keep a market open and prevent a service call. The FreshIQ lock interface to FreshTraq gives CoolBlu the opportunity to offer this technology and show how our superior design and performance can help the operator. Two industry leaders are teaming to build vending delivery lockers to provide what they say are streamlined, secure, tamper-proof, contactless food delivery and pick-up stations for the next generation of onsite delivery.
Constructed by U-Select-It (USI) and powered by 365 Retail Markets, the lockers are designed to meet needs of operators who are encountering changing needs of vending location owners and consumers who purchase at those sites.
