PAZ LENCHANTIN
She is the bassist with the
Pixies
and
The Entrance Band
. She's played and arranged strings for
Silver Jews, Jenny Lewis,
and
Queens of the Stone Age
, to name a few. Her previous bands were A Perfect Circle and Zwan.
Her solo performances magnify her multiple talents. Switching between violin
and bass, while manipulating an array of pedals, Lenchantin creates walls of
sound and melody that escalate, layer and land softly between her haunted vocals. The effect is primal, mesmerizing, and masterful.
We are super pleased to have her big sound in our big cube. She will also be premiering her film,
Spider Lady
, made for her Monkey Town residency.
