Dear Friends,
This holiday season, we extend heartfelt wishes for peace, joy, and celebration. As we reflect on the abundant blessings of this year, the enriching relationships between our majestic elephants deserve our highest gratitude. Bo and Tarra’s two-year anniversaries at the Refuge were marked not only by the passage of time but by a profound display of affection and trust which would typically unfold over the course of many years.
Moreover, our Refuge was graced with another extraordinary gift—Mundi, a resilient and tenacious elephant who needed a forever home. In her journey, overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, Mundi found her way to us. Her arrival felt nothing short of miraculous. For over 35 years, she had endured loneliness, yet her presence serves as a testament to the enduring spark of hope when combined with the actions of compassionate people coming together for a cause.
As Mundi undergoes a remarkable rehabilitation journey, guided by the gentle spirit of Bo and the experienced mentorship of Tarra, each elephant inspires us to keep our hearts open and believe goodness can always find its way home.
In this season of compassion and reflection, let us embrace the power of hope and the transformative impact of connection.
Warm Regards,
|
