Join Peace Choir!
Peace Choir is planning to meet via Zoom during the fall season on Thursday evenings at 7 pm. Our first rehearsal will be Thursday, September 17.  We’ll be meeting for some devotion time, brushing up on music reading and theory, singing, and fellowship.  Even if you haven’t sung with us before, please consider joining us in the convenience of your very own home!  Contact Brad Stirtz at  
Pastor's Study

Beginning Thursday, September 17, Peace will be releasing a new weekly recorded video-based Bible study on the Book of Revelation led by Pastor Marty. Pastor Marty will be walking through the Book of Revelation this fall. Check Peace's website each week at your convenience to download and watch Pastor Marty's study. Feel free to email questions, reflections, and thoughts to Pastor Marty as you study along.

Monday Night Live! Bible Study

Our 5-week study will be video-based series called Race and the Gospel by Bryan Loritts and Matt Chandler. We will use this study and the writings of Paul in Ephesians to better understand race, racism, and injustice. A very topical study for our church as we try to shine God's Light and live the Gospel in our community.
Lunch & A Devo
Feel like you could use a little social-time and some encouragement? It's hard to social distance and work remotely. We have just the thing to help lift your spirit. Join us for lunch and a devo. You bring your sack lunch and a lawn chair, and we'll provide a devo and some encouragement. This a great way for us to meet up during the week (following social distancing guidelines) and have lunch outside at Peace.

Men's Ministry
Men of Peace
We’re planning for our first few monthly meetings this fall to assemble in the lovely and spacious Peace parking lot!  We’ll meet for individually packed breakfasts and Bible study.  The first of our fall monthly meetings will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 8 am.  See ya there!

Women's Ministry
JoyBreak - Fall Session
This Fall our study will be the Book of Hebrews. No books are needed, just your Bibles. We will be using a video-based study by Lisa Harper.

Our JoyBreak offering will follow a different format this fall due to social distancing guidelines. Two options will be available:
In-Person and Online Video.

Our in-person session will be held each Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 am starting September 16.

Join us this fall for Women's Evening Bible Study! We will be studying together virtually this fall via Zoom each Tuesday evening at 7 pm. Our first meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 15.

Our study is called Take Courage: A Study of Haggai by Jennifer Rothschild.

Women's Online Bible Study
Our fall session Women's Online Study begins on Monday, September 28

"Rhythms of Renewal" by Rebekah Lyons

In this study, we will work to understand anxiety, fear, stress, and depression. We will use Scripture to look at ways we can find a new sense of strength and peace that only God can give us.

Sunday School
(Preschool thru 5th Grade)

Sunday School will be offered virtually this year. Our new offering is called Together Time With Jesus.
A pre-recorded video of Sunday school will be available each week that you can play anytime that works for you and your family. You can even watch it more than once! A new weekly video will be available each Sunday morning at 9:30 am. This video will be 20-25 minutes and will have a Bible Story, music, and activity ideas.

MS Youth Sunday School

Middle School Sunday School will be held virtually via Zoom Meeting every Sunday at
1:30 pm beginning this Sunday, September 13. This is a great way for our youth to connect and interact with each other in a fun way and also get into God's Word on a weekly basis.

MS Youth Friday Fun Nites

During the school year, we plan monthly Friday Fun Nites with our 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders.
Our first Friday Fun Nite will be September 18!

Our Middle School Youth Group is taking a trip to do some mini golfing!  Friday, September 18 from 6-8 PM @ Holes & Knolls in Glen Ellyn. We will mini golf for the first hour and then proceed to play get-to-know-you games and pass out a
pre-packaged ice cream treat! Don't forget to bring a friend! Cost is $5 and permission slips are required! Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.  If you have any questions, email Andrew at  

HS Bible Study

Bible Study for High School Youth will be held via Zoom every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month - 6 to 8 pm. To register to receive Zoom Meeting links, please email Andrew Crist at We need HS Youth's name, email, and cell phone number.

Our first HS Youth Bible Study Zoom Mtg will be Sunday, September 20 from 6 to 8 pm.

HS Youth Nites

High School Youth Nites will be held In-person every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month from
6 to 8 pm. We will meet outside, wear masks, & follow social distancing guidelines while the weather is nice for September and October. Youth should bring a lawn chair to sit in. Feel free to invite friends.

Our first HS Youth Nite will be Sunday, September 13 from 5:15-7:30 pm.

We will be trekking to Holes & Knolls on Sunday, September 13 from 5:15-7:30 PM to do some mini golfing! The Mini Golf Trophy of Excellence is once again up for grabs! Bring a friend to share in the glory! Afterwards, we will play
get-to- know-you games and share a pre-packaged ice cream treat. Cost is $5 and a permission slip is required. Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced. If you have any questions, email Andrew at  

High School Camp Out
Friday, September 25 to Saturday, September 26.  
We will be camping at Peace! Campfire games, movie and other festivities will take place! Bring your own tent or let us know so one can be provided to you!

Confirmation (7th & 8th Grade)
Confirmation will be held virtually this year via Zoom every Tuesday night at 7:15 pm. We are adapting our curriculum to be more interactive and easier given that many students will already be doing e-learning at home.
Parent Meeting will be Tuesday, September 15 at 7:15 pm via Zoom meeting.

Our first Confirmation meeting with students will be Tuesday, September 22 at 7:15 pm via Zoom meeting.

We are asking that both 7th & 8th grade parents register their youth for confirmation by emailing Andrew Crist at Please give parents' name, email, and phone as well as student's name, grade level, and email.
Live the Love - September
This month we are highlighting The Caring Network. Peace has had a long relationship with this non-profit organization. The Caring Network offers support and services for women who face an unplanned pregnancy. Women receive free pregnancy tests, confidential consultations, ultrasounds, and practical resources. Mothers continue to receive support pre- and post-pregnancy.

We will be collecting all sizes of diapers and wipes during the month of September.
Please drop your donation off on Sunday Mornings or during the week Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. We are more than happy to provide a curbside pick-up if you call ahead at 630.627.1101.
