" Know good. Receive good. Be good."
 Arian Clute
Song: "That I Would Be Good"
Scripture Romans 8:26-30 (MSG)

God is good and we can be good too because of God's goodness. Yet, what if we can't really be good until we receive the good that God is trying to give us? We want God to meet us where we are but are we willing to meet God where God is? Are we able to trust that God's plans for us are good?

Summer Back to School Blessing Drive
- Deadline August 5
Throughout the month of July, we are committing to collect 200 backpacks to be distributed to families in need at our partner school John Young Elementary School, as well as additional public schools in our local area. Whether you find yourself in the next month doing some back-to-school shopping, or if those days are long over for you and you miss the joy of picking up a new backpack for a child, include the purchase of one or two backpacks in your travels over the next month.  You can drop them off in the bins located in the hallway.  We'll also be setting up a small "store" for families in need in order to shop for school supplies at a very discounted rate. So feel free to donate a gift card or two, or make a monetary donation for school supplies, and support our effort to help be a blessing to others when they head back to school in August.  The deadline for the collection will be Sunday, August 5 th.
