In just a few days, we will gather for our annual celebration of the tourism industry. While there are many agenda items we will hope to accomplish during our time together, the most important one is to spend some one-on-one time with your legislators letting them know how they can help advance your tourism priorities during the legislative session. Hopefully, that's a relationship you have already established so this visit is just an added bit of punctuation to the ongoing conversation, but if you don't yet have a strong relationship with your legislators, this will be the perfect opportunity to start one. Make a point to schedule an appointment for a visit while you'll be in the Capitol. Our legislators are all "regular citizens" who really want to do the best for their communities and their state, and you can help them set their priorities by sharing your own. Hope to see you at the Capitol!
