Outdoor Business Workshop

May 2, 2013 at Field Quest Farm in Benton, Mississippi

Mississippi State University's Natural Resource Enterprises Workshops are designed for landowners interested in learning about developing enterprises from the natural resources on their property or learning more about wildlife habitat and business management.

Each workshop is held on privately-owned property that is managed for agriculture, forestry, or other conventional land use and has a successfully integrated fee-access recreational enterprise(s) with examples of habitat management techniques.

Landowners have the opportunity to speak with resource agency personnel, wildlife biologists, enterprise operators, and business professionals.

In the morning session, presentations on various topics related to business and habitat management are given. Professionals are on hand for a question and answer session after their talks. The afternoon session is held in the field, at various stops on each property that illustrate wildlife habitat management.

A registration fee of $25 per person must accompany your registration. Workshop attendees will receive a resource notebook, lunch, and refreshments included in this fee.

For more information, call (662) 325-3133.
