Market Kids

"Let parents bequeath to their children not riches, but the spirit of reverence."

Nothing makes us happier than seeing children experiencing the market and enjoying their community. We strive to help children develop a reverence for the earth, and an appreciation for their food and the people who grow it. It's our hope that we're growing a generation that embraces farming, lives like a local, and eats with seasons.

This Saturday we've got lots of great activities for the little ones, starting bright and early at 9:30am. Read on and see what
fun awaits you!

*And if you haven't signed your child up for the POP (Power of Produce) Club, be sure to stop by the INFO tent and find out what it's all about!

Sing n Move at the Market 9:30 am

Let the Composting Begin!
Much to our delight we gave away 100 buckets last week and registered 100 composters for our new program. Composting starts this Saturday behind the Easton Public Market and we're ready to weigh your waste and start the process of turning it into black gold! And remember, the person who composts the most between now and September 30th will win $100 in market tokens!

Didn't get a bucket last week? Wat to learn more?
Stop by the EFM Info tent and find out how to be a "scrappy scrapper!"
