STOPPED SCHOOL BUS RULES

Unfortunately, scams targeting our aging population continue to be a serious problem in PTC with losses frequently over $5,000 and sometimes over $100,000. If your senior group, sub-division, church group, or living facility is interested in receiving a presentation on “scams and fraud and how to protect yourself,” please contact Aux Officer Harry Schaefer at [email protected] to discuss and request a presentation.

Fayette Senior Services Programs – August 2022 Newsletter

The AARP Smart Driver course teaches valuable defensive driving strategies and provides a refresher on the rules of the road. Since 1979, the course has helped more than 15 million drivers learn research-based tips to adapt their driving to compensate for physical and cognitive changes that may occur with aging. Plus, you may qualify for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by completing the course (check with your auto insurance agent for details). Seating is limited. Registration required.

Cost: $20 for AARP members; $25 for Non-Members

Cash or check accepted on the day of class.
