Here's your sign: What the planning placards mean

You might have spotted some black and white signs popping up around town.

These rezoning notices mean that someone filed an application to change the zoning or seek a variance for their property. A legal ad also runs in the Fayette News newspaper the day that the signs are posted.

These ads and signs contain basic information about the rezoning/variance request, including the City Council public hearing date.

If you would like more information about the request, please contact Peachtree City Planning Department at (770) 487-5731.
