2023 Peachtree City Fourth of July Parade Route | |
Here's the route for the 2023 Peachtree City Fourth of July Parade.
Expect delays on Crosstown Drive, McIntosh Trail, Peachtree Parkway South and Robinson Road starting at 7:30AM on July 4th.
The parade steps off at 9:00AM, using the southbound lanes of Robinson Road and the northbound lanes of Peachtree Parkway to McIntosh Trail.
Access to neighborhoods along the parade route will be severely restricted during the parade and cleanup.

Flat Creek Boardwalk: Share Your Thoughts | |
Earlier this year, strong winds toppled trees in the Flat Creek Nature Area, destroying a section of the southern boardwalk.
The boardwalk remains closed due to concerns that other trees weakened by the storm may fall.
City Council is considering ways to repair & reopen the boardwalk. We want to hear from you on how we make the Flat Creek Nature Area safe for all.

Beta Test the New Multi-Use Path System Navigation App | |
The running track at Riley Field in Peachtree City officially reopened on Tuesday, June 28, much to the delight of local runners and athletes.
After undergoing renovations and improvements, the track was eagerly anticipated by the community. Mayor Kim Learnard and City Manager Bob Curnow did the honors of cutting the ribbon before the first race.
Runners of all ages and skill levels gathered at the newly christened running surface, ready to put their training to the test. The reopening of the track not only provided a safe and reliable facility for athletes to pursue their passion but also acted as a hub for fostering a sense of camaraderie among the running community in Peachtree City.

Road Repaving Coming to Your Community | |
• Walt Banks Road
Starting on Tuesday, June 13, our hardworking crews will kick off milling operations on Walt Banks Road. Once that's done, we'll proceed with repaving the street (weather permitting).
Don't worry, Walt Banks Road will remain open throughout the process. However, please be prepared for possible delays as traffic will be flagged around the road work.
Stay patient and drive safely! We appreciate your understanding as we strive to improve our roads for all.

• All Children's Playground
Starting Monday, June 12, the path next to All Children’s Playground will be intermittently closed while Public Works repaves it.
This process should take approximately one to two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Did you know there is free untreated mulch available at the Rockaway Compost Facility?
On Wednesdays, the gates open at 1:00 pm, and will be self-loading.
On Saturdays, the gates open at 8:30 am, and loading assistance will be available.
Please note on both days, the gates will be close at 4:30 pm.
Please be inside the gates by 4:15 pm to allow enough time for loading.
