Over half of Peachtree City's registered voters (55.66%) cast ballots for the vacant city council post 3 seat.
This election will be certified by the Fayette County Board of Elections on November 14, 2022 at 5pm in the Public Meeting room at 140 Stonewall West Suite 100 Fayetteville GA 30214.
The top two candidates receiving the most votes will advance to the December 6, 2022 runoff.
This runoff election will be held in conjunction with the statewide U.S. Senate runoff.
However, like the November 8th election, there will be two separate ballots.
Residents wishing vote absentee in both the special municipal election runoff and the U.S. Senate runoff must request and complete two separate absentee ballot applications.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is November 25, 2022.
Separate polling locations on the December 6, 2022 runoff election day may also be necessary.
Visit www.sos.ga.gov to verify your polling locations for election day voting.
