New 5 Position Chapter Council

The NKBA Board of Directors met Thursday, April 27, in Houston, TX, and approved the proposed changes to the Chapter Governance structure.  Over the course of the two-day meeting in Houston, the Chapter Governance Task Force discussed the relationship between NKBA National and NKBA chapters, noting the chapters seek structured, consistent guidelines from NKBA National while allowing for internal flexibility on the part of NKBA chapter leaders.  Recommendations for NKBA Chapters:

-Rename the leadership for NKBA chapters to Chapter Council (versus Chapter Board or Executive Committee)

-Create 5 positions for the Council
