2. At 28,251 ft, it is the second highest mountain on earth.
3. The first woman to reach its summit was Polish climber Wanda Rutkiewicz on 23rd June 1986.
4. As of August 2022, best estimates are that approximately 700 climbers have summited this mountain peak.
