Pearland ISD art students are headed to the rodeo!

Nineteen Pearland ISD artists were recently selected to advance in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art program competition. Their artwork is moving on to the next round of judging known as Grand Prix, in which 72 pieces of art will be chosen by judges to be auctioned for student awards and the rodeo’s educational fund. Additionally, one student was awarded a gold medal in the Special Needs category.

2024-25 Calendar Approved

The Pearland ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2024-25 school year calendar at their January 23 meeting.

All-A Honor Roll

An “All-A” Honor Roll for each K-8 campus is compiled at the end of the nine weeks grading period. An “All-A” Honor Roll for grades 9-12 is compiled at the end of each semester.

Raise your hand Texas

Pearland ISD was announced on January 26 as a Raise Your Hand Texas Trustee Advocates Program cohort participant. This initiative trains Texas school districts and their locally-elected trustees to educate, engage and activate their school districts and local communities to amplify their voices in state public education policy and advocacy.

Pearland ISD Fine Arts is excited to present the third Big Art Day, a FREE event for the entire family in celebration of Youth Art Month. The event is set for Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Pearland Town Center located at 11200 Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77584.

'An Evening in Casablanca' Gala

The Pearland ISD Education Foundation is proud to announce the return of its premier fundraising event. Join the foundation on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 6 p.m. for an extraordinary night featuring dinner, entertainment, live and silent auctions at the Pelazzio Reception Venue (located at 12121 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Tx 77077). This marks the seventh annual Evening for Education Gala, commemorating the foundation's decade of commitment to education.

Join Pearland Parks & Recreation for a heartwarming evening under the stars at our enchanting "Valentines Sunset Cinema: Flick & Fireworks," presented by UHCL Pearland. This free event promises fun for the whole family, featuring the delightful Disney Pixar's Elemental on the big screen, the thrilling HEB Buddy's Blizzard snow area, all culmination in a dazzling fireworks show at 8 p.m.

What to Bring: Guests are recommended to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and you may bring your own snacks or enjoy the tasty treats from the food truck.

Rules: Glass is prohibited. Pets will not be allowed at this event and the dog park will be closed 2 - 8:30 p.m.
