VATRE

Pearland ISD Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) will be included on the November ballot. Passage of Pearland ISD’s VATRE would decrease the total tax rate by 16.54 cents, with a total rate of $1.1373, generating $11.2 million in additional funds for Pearland ISD, supporting increased compensation to district’s staff, improving district infrastructure, supporting high-quality student programs and helping reduce Pearland ISD’s budget deficit. If the VATRE does not pass, the tax rate will decrease by 25.54 cents, with a total rate of $1.0473 and no funds for Pearland ISD. Learn more: www.pearlandisd.org/VATRE #PearlandISDVATRE

New Leadership

Pearland ISD welcomes Kelly Holt as its new Deputy Superintendent. The former Pearland ISD’s Executive Director of High Schools replaces Deputy Superintendent David Moody, who recently retired.

Student Achievement

Pearland ISD proudly announces 12 semifinalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. Less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors -- reached the semifinalist stage this year.

Career Expo Celebrates Twelfth Year

Livestock, art and culinary talents took the spotlight during the twelfth annual Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo Sept 6-8 and 14.

The hometown show at the Wagoner Agricultural Facility gave students an opportunity to show off their career and artistic skills.

Spreading Holiday Cheer

The holiday season is a special and exciting time, however, for some families it can be difficult. Now in its eleventh year, Pearland ISD's Angel Tree Project is seeking sponsors to match with 750 students in need for the holidays.

Calling all ghosts and goblins! Join us at the 18th Annual Trick or Treat Trail! Trick-or-Treaters of all ages are invited out to this FREE community-wide event.
