On Monday, August 21, the Pearland ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to decrease the school tax rate, the lowest overall district tax rate in at least 30 years. The vote triggered a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE), that, if approved, would generate additional funds from the state while also lowering the 2023-24 property tax rate by 16.54 cents.

If you heard The Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo is Sept. 6-8, and 14, you heard right!

Pearland ISD students will exhibit livestock, showcase career talents and win scholarships and awards in art and culinary contests and lamb, goat, swine and cattle shows. Additionally, kicking off the event is the Pearland Partner Show, an event that creates an opportunity for students to be paired with and mentored by Pearland ISD Future Farmers of America (FFA) students. 

Cashless Concessions

Beginning August 24, concession stands held at all football games hosted at Pearland ISD Stadium will be moving to a cashless paying system.

Orders may be placed in person or online from anywhere. Payment accepted will include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, JCB and UnionPay.
