Greetings!
Refugees, a sculpture by Judith Peck,
has been installed at the Mahwah NJ Library

The work will be displayed at the main entrance for about a year
A viewer reads the bronze label on the base of the sculpture:

This immigrant family, like one of many thousands, has fled turmoil leaving everything they own behind to find safety. On their backs are the only possessions they can carry. And extended in the father’s hand is the only identity of who they are that now matters.
Your comments are very welcome
