Multidisciplinary Clinic Spotlight
The Head Shape Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic offered at four different Johns Hopkins All Children’s locations. Patients are seen by specialists during their clinic visit, including a surgeon who discusses treatment options and screens for craniosynostosis and other conditions that may impact the shape of the head. A physical therapist screens for torticollis and other neuromuscular disorders that can cause deformation of the skull and, when appropriate, they arrange to treat these conditions. Finally, an orthotist evaluates the patient when the surgeon and family agree that the child is a good candidate for treatment of deformational plagiocephaly with a helmet.

Head Shape clinic is offered conveniently closer to home at four outpatient care centers:

St. Petersburg, Main Campus
Clinic is offered on the first and third Mondays

Fort Myers
Clinic is offered on the second Monday

East Lake
Clinic is offered on the third Tuesday

Tampa
