Dover will turn 400 years old in 2023 and birthday planning is already under way. During this public forum, Dover residents will have a chance to voice their ideas on activities to celebrate this major milestone.  If you have ideas and would like to send your input in advance of the meeting, please message us directly.
Footloose The Musical

To the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score and augmented with new songs for the stage musical, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind.

Join CMNH's Last 5K Fundraiser

After 34 years, the Children's Museum of NH's 5k Fundraiser is reaching the finish line. After the Saturday, May 4th race, the museum will no longer hold this annual event. For those runners or walkers of all ages hoping to enjoy our race one final time as we say goodbye to this signature event, discounted $22 online registrations are being accepted through Friday, May 3rd, or you can register at the race itself on Saturday, May 4th for $25. The certified 5k course through downtown Dover starts at 9am at the intersection of Central Avenue, Washington Street and Henry Law Avenue. The Kid-venture Course, which has a superheroes theme this year, will take place in lower Henry Law Park at 9:50am, and discounted online registration costs $8 in advance or $10 on race day. Living in the Colonel's House

Experience a colonial New Hampshire household in the years prior to the American Revolution at Living in the Colonel's House, a living history event at Rollinsford's historic Colonel Paul Wentworth House. Historical re-enactors in 18th century dress will portray members of the Wentworth household and their neighbors as they tend to everyday tasks: cleaning house, cooking on the hearth, working in the gardens, sewing, and laundering clothing. They will also describe their daily lives, share the latest town gossip, and discuss the growing tension with Britain. Children's games and tours of the house will also be available. CPR Classes at Dover Adult Learning Center
Learn adult, child and infant CPR, how to use an AED, and what to do if someone is choking. Participants who successfully complete the course will earn their Heartsaver CPR/AED certification card which is valid for 2 years (Thursday, May 23, 5:30-9:00pm, tuition $50.)

The Joe B. Parks Riverwalk Public Gardens depends on volunteers to help maintain and tend to the gardens enjoyed by the public each year. More volunteers are needed to help tend to the gardens in 2019. Tasks include spring and fall clean-up of garden beds and monthly visits to tidy up the gardens. Volunteers can adopt specific areas. The Art Center is Now Available to Rent for Your Special Occasion!
The Art Center is a unique venue in Dover, NH. Started at the end of 2017, by Rebecca Proctor of RSP Studio, it has become home to a number of working full and part-time artists including painters, sculptors, photographers, poets, musicians and writers. Rebecca conceived of the Art Center as a unified artistic endeavor, so it has not only been used as a working art studio but also as a gallery, theater and a m usical venue.
