March 2026

Hi Pegasus FC Families,

As we reflect on the winter season, I want to recognize the commitment shown by our players and coaches across the club.

Winter is an important part of the Pegasus FC development calendar. It is a time to focus on technical growth, more touches on the ball, and training environments that challenge players to improve each session. The work put in during these months builds the foundation for the performances we will see throughout the year.

Our teams also had opportunities to compete in tournaments and travel events this winter. These experiences are an important part of player development, giving players the chance to adapt to new opponents, new environments, and new challenges while continuing to build confidence in the game.

Behind the scenes, we have remained focused on improving the facilities and environments that support our players every day. Providing strong training environments continues to be a priority as Pegasus FC grows and invests in the player experience.

As we head into the spring season, there is great energy across the club. Teams are preparing for league play, tournaments, and continued training, and we are excited to see the work from the winter begin to show on the field.

Communication between coaches, players, and families will continue to be an important part of our environment. We encourage families to build strong relationships with their player’s coach and to keep communication open throughout the season, so players receive the support, feedback, and guidance they need.

Thank you to our players, coaches, and families for your continued commitment to Pegasus FC.

MORE HIGH-QUALITY TRAINING SPACES

Over the past few years, we’ve invested intentionally in better environments for our players—across Willow Hill, the Pegasus Pitch, and the Pegasus Performance Center. This spring, we’re adding another major opportunity.

Through a sponsorship with The Donato Foundation and their redevelopment of the former Trinity International University campus in Bannockburn, Pegasus FC players will gain access to additional high-quality spaces to train and compete.

This is a big moment for every player and family who has helped build Pegasus FC into what it is. We can’t wait to see our teams train and compete in this new space.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR OUR PLAYERS

  • More indoor and outdoor field options (short term)
  • Turf fields coming in the next 12–18 months
  • More consistent, year-round opportunities to sharpen technical skill, decision-making, and overall development

Our coaches work hard during all three seasons of training. The winter "off" season, finds them traveling to tournaments, running indoor team and specialty skills training sessions,

A very special shout-out to Coach Greg for being named Male Competitive Coach of the Year by Illinois Youth Soccer Association.

NEW CERTIFICATION TRAINING

Pegasus FC players continued to serve as the demonstration team for local coaches earning their U.S. Soccer licenses. Another example of how our club gives back to the soccer community.
