WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Our green cart towels have been disappearing. If you have any with you – check your golf cart, garage, and golf bag – we need them back. Supplies are limited from our vendor and we provide these towels as an amenity for you to use during your round of golf. They are not meant to be kept permanently. If we do not have enough to launder we may not be able to continue with this service. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

*Note to members - Please bring your mats if the class requires one, as supplies are limited. Do not forget WATER! It’s important to stay hydrated while exercising outdoors.

Just show up by 8:00 a.m. and ride a guided route based on those in attendance that morning. A ride leader will determine the distance and pace. Meet under the portico at the clubhouse.

More structured rides will run from January through March. Sign-ups will be done in advance on the Pelican Sound reservation system for each of the three ride groups; Cruisers, Sprinters, and Road Riders.

Also new this year, the Bike Club will have a custom-made jersey available for sale! Look for information in the near future to place your order.

DEAR RACQUET SPORTS FANS

We hope everyone had a great summer and that everyone is safe after this devastating Hurricane! We have been working on getting everything back up to speed to offer our members a great season to come. We still have a few little things to work out but nothing that would get in the way of playing. I wanted to give everyone a quick overview of our activities for the fall season.

PICKLEBALL

17 October- start booking your spot online for our weekly pickleball clinics. Just like last year, the reservations will open a week prior to the day of the clinic. We have changed a few of the times and days for the events so make sure to book the accurate clinic.

9 November- Weekly Monday-Wednesday-Friday 11 am-12:30 pm Ladies Only sessions will resume but the reservations will open a week prior to the event.

9 November- Fall Welcome Back! Visit "Upcoming Events" on the website or PS mobile app to reserve a spot. The playing part of the event will open on 17 October, please contact Frenchie directly to secure your spot. We will have a fun, Round Robin, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm and if necessary depending on signups we will add a session from 2:30-4 pm.

15 November- This season we are going to change the time and sign-up procedure for the Men’s shootout. We will still run it on Tuesdays and Thursdays but at 11 am instead of 2 pm starting on November 15th. The reservation process will be the same as the ladies' session. You will have to book online directly on the court sheet a week prior to the event. We hope to get more participation in this event by being a little earlier and cooler for our players.

TENNIS

17 October- Team clinics are starting along with our team matches.

20 October- Our weekly Tuesday and Thursday Men’s Round Robin resumes. You will have the ability to sign up a week prior to the event directly on the court sheet. 

15 November- Fall Welcome Back at 6 pm on the patio of the racquet center. The Round Robin will be from 4 pm-5:30 pm with food to follow at 6 pm. Registration for this event will start on October 25th.
