T-Minus One Day Until the Pen Pal Program Registration Window Closes

TOMORROW, 9/30, is the LAST DAY to register for the 2022-2023 Pen Pal Program!

The Pen Pal Program is a unique and fun opportunity for girls to make friends in other Troops across the nation! All Levels can participate, and each girl will receive a girl pen pal from a different state at the same Program Level. Girls can communicate with their pen pals in a variety of fun ways to make it a great experience!

CHANGES TO EXPECT AND HOW TO REGISTER:

Is your daughter already registered as a Girl Member for the 2022-23 Program Year? No need to worry! You can still sign your girl up for the Pen Pal Program today in her AHGfamily Profile through tomorrow, 9/30.

National Day of Service Was a Huge Success, Thanks to YOU!

Last Saturday, 9/17, AHG Members across the nation were educated on disability awareness and disability etiquette and participated in service projects that reflected the importance of serving those impacted by disabilities. What a blessing!

P.S. Watch the "Shine & Serve" ASL tutorial video practice it with your Troop or family, record your performance, and submit your video by December 31, 2022 so that AHG can use it in a SHINE video montage.

Stars & Stripes Project Advisors (SSPAs)

SSPAs are dedicated, seasoned volunteers who have a heart for supporting Patriot Level girls as they work toward earning AHG’s Stars & Stripes Award.

Position details include, coaching for success, reviewing/approving written work, communication and record keeping, and encouraging and praying for candidates. AHG is currently looking for SSPA's from these states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
