Are you seeing all our announcements?
This is the time of year when we have a lot of important announcements and It has come to our attention that some people are not seeing all of them. This is because some programs will clip emails if they are too long.
If the email has been clipped you will see  a "view entire message" link at the bottom of  your email.  Just click on this link and it will open up a window where you will see all the announcements.
Worship this Week

Sunday Online Worship
January 10, 2021
Life is a series of Exclamations from "Oh No!" to "Help!" to "Oh Yeah!"  We swing between feelings of disappointment, helplessness and gratitude on a daily basis. There are also seasons of our lives when we feel inundated with more of one than the others.  We had hoped we would be past the "Oh No!" of the last several months. Instead, as this new year begins, we find ourselves with ongoing prayers for "Help!"

The Book of Psalms knows all about this. Written over a span of time from exile and isolation to the rebuilding of community, the poetry of the Psalms will accompany us over the next six weeks, reminding us that through it all we can trust that God is, indeed, holding our lives. We begin our series with Psalm 72. In subsequent weeks we will be turning to  Psalm 139,  62, 111, 147 and 50.

Sermon Title: These Lives are Precious
We will also be celebrating Communion so please bring some bread and juice when you come to worship.

Alone We Listen Together
WHY:  Deepen relationships with self and other
WHEN:    January 11, then the first Monday of the month (February - June)10:00 - 12:00
WHERE: Zoom Room, 2021-A

Do you find yourself saying something like this?

I am looking for a group of kindred souls who consider themselves novice contemplatives: they yearn for spirituality but steer clear of religiosity!  I want to belong to a kind group with whom I can deepen both my writing skills and heart thrills.  I want to meet regularly with writer-listeners in a relationship of trust to hear how other contemplatives do life.  I want the feeling of being connected, being heard, and being supported; but I give too!  I want to offer my own invitation to connect with you, hear you, and support you!  I want to find out more about you as well as myself--and us.  I want to accomplish something in this process; I want to experience the fun of writing and listening, the delight of discovering who we are, and the discipline of committing to someone and they to me.

If this sounds like you and you can commit to receiving a weekly prompt emailed to you from which you respond in writing on your own, then meet on the first Monday of each month in ZoomRoom 2021-A for a two-hour listening session where you read your works, then please RSVP.

(Zoom app required)

To RSVP for January 11, 2021 (group is closed after the February meeting), please email Marilyn Hahn at
