The 2019 Lent book focuses on the words of the prophets, who often faced a skeptical reception. How do the words of past prophets continue to live today? How do they inform our faith formation and our actions as a church?
If you'd like to order a copy of this book there is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex at the Crescent Site.  Cost: $14 each.  Orders must be in by Feb. 17.

The Coldest Night of the Year is coming soon Saturday, February 23, 2019.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a fun, family-friendly walking event that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 100+ communities across Canada including one right here in White Rock.  Local fundraising efforts will benefit SOURCES, our local Community Resources Society serving more than 5,000 people living in poverty in White Rock, Delta, Langley and beyond. Last year this event raised over $69,000 for homeless prevention programs for Sources. This year we have formed a team of walkers from Peninsula United Church called "United Feet for the Street", and we'd like you to walk with us.

There are two ways you can help out:
1.   Register as a Walker and walk with us.  Sign up Here to register and join our team as a fundraiser.  Registration fee is $25 per person but is waived if you fundraise more than $150, OR
2.   Donate to the team or to one of the team members by clicking here.
