Sunday Worship - J anuary 13, 2019

The Rev. Joan McMurtry will be leading worship at the Crescent site helping us think about hospitality and what that might look like with people in our community who don't have a home of their own.
10 am at Cafe Church
At Café Church we will celebrating Epiphany with a story about a star that led the Magi to Jesus.   We will be making stars to remind us that Jesus calls us to shine God's light in the world. Come and shine with us.

Peninsula Sacred Writers Group
you an open-minded, open-hearted, oh!-pen-in-handed person who believes words can take back truths?  Reshape life's stories?  Serve as acts of love and worship, while strengthening our community?  Each week, in a safe and supportive environment, use sacred writing texts, prompts, writing, discussion, and reflection to explore faith, celebrate creativity, and grow together on our God-journey.   All writing levels welcome.
Details to follow.
Par Changes
Many thanks for the tremendous response to our congregation's first Stewardship Program.  Please note that changes to PAR givings requested in your Stewardship Response Form will go into effect this month.
Our Whole Lives- Sexuality Education For Adults 30-55 - Saturdays February 9, March 9, & April 13, 1 pm - 5 pm at Peninsula United Church, Sunnyside site.
Our Whole Lives focuses on sexuality in connection with many other concepts such as relationships, love, family, and spirituality. Sexuality, with all it involves, is most positive, most affirming, and most wonderful when it is understood and approached as a creative and connective life force, rather than as a series of thoughts and actions isolated from other parts of human activity.
Hosted by the South Fraser Unitarian Congregation.
