Dear Colleagues:
We have several Zoom calls planned for the next week, April 7 -14. Here are the details. Please join us as you are able.

Monday through Friday
Prayer Pause : 12:00 Noon Facilitated by Penn Central, Penn Southeast and Penn Northeast Conferences.
Meeting ID: 377 441 225 / Password: 490532

Worship Planning and New Ideas : 4:00 PM Facilitated by PCC clergy. Come for inspiration and new ideas for worship in new formats.
Holy Wednesday Communion: 10:00 AM Facilitated by PCC staff. In preparation, you are encouraged to bring with you to the screen or phone your own bread or cracker along with juice, wine or the common table beverage in your house. Jesus used the remaining bread from the meal and wine because it was on the table that Passover night long ago. You are invited to do the same.
The liturgy for the service will be displayed on the screen. While participant screens will be muted, a leader will read the responses aloud with you as you read them aloud at home. If you are on the phone and cannot see the screen, you are invited to join the responses in spirit. Your elements will be consecrated via technological mediation. It is, after all, holy mystery.

Sacred Space for Clergy : 9:00 AM, Facilitated by PCC clergy. Come for prayer, scripture, and sharing.

Holy Thursday Communion Services for Clergy

New to Zoom? For many of us, Video Conferencing technology is new and it can be a little nerve wracking to tackle yet another new thing during this time of turbulent change.

We have a couple things to help you out. One is this Best Practices for Zoom sheet with great tips for etiquette during Zoom calls! Another is the Zoom Help Center - lots of tutorials and frequently asked questions answered.

Finally, if your church doesn't have Zoom yet but wants to start using it (great for online consistory meetings and bible studies) Tech Soup has discounted rates right now! Click here to see the rates. If you need to set up a Tech Soup account, use Association Code PENNCCUCC when prompted for it.

Parish Resource Center has graciously extended their appointment calendar to non-member churches. If you would like to set up an appointment to discuss Zoom or other technology topics, click here to see available times and dates.
