Penn-Delco will begin offering free lunch to ALL students up to age 18 as part of the USDA program created to ensure all children have access to nutritious food as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will continue through June 30, 2021. Dental exams are mandated by Pennsylvania for grades K/1, 3, and 7. This program is available for students in grade K/1, 3 and 7 who have not provided proof of a dental exam within the last year. If we do not have the required dental information regarding your child for this year, you may qualify for this program. Learn more.
Join our Penn-Delco musicians as they perform virtually for our community. Congratulations to our Music Department for creating a beautiful series of concerts that capture the joy of music. While our musicians were unable to perform in person for their families and community, the joy of music continues to live in their classrooms, whether virtually or in person, as well as in their hearts.
Enjoy a socially distanced, safe way to celebrate
More district recognition
On December 10, the Governor of Pennsylvania announced temporary mitigation measures that affect some of our students. Here are those restrictions that are in effect through 8:00 am January 4th:
In-Person Extracurricular School Activities
  • Voluntary activities sponsored or approved by a school entity’s governing body or administration are suspended, but these extracurricular activities may be held virtually.
K-12 School Sports and Youth Sports
  • All sports at K-12 public schools, nonpublic schools, private schools and club, travel, recreational, intermural, and intramural sports are paused.
In an effort to be transparent, the Penn-Delco School District has a section of the website that updates the community on COVID-19 positivity and quarantine in our school buildings. It also provides a daily rolling number over 14 days that is monitored to comply with the latest guidelines for contact tracing and cleaning mandated by the State. Go to our dashboard regularly as we share the status of COVID-19 in our school community.
