October Edition: October 9, 2020
Students return to the classroom
We were thrilled to welcome a number of our students back to the classroom with select Special Education students returning last month. Elementary students in grades K - 2 also returned to the classroom this week in the hybrid model. While some of our students will continue learning virtually in a cyber format, most of our students will begin returning to the classroom starting Monday, October 12th masked and socially distanced.
Access all health and safety information
Our family guide for health and safety can be found at the Health and Safety section of the Reopening tab of the website. It features details about appropriate masking, what to do if your child is ill, and how students will experience social distancing while at school. The student screener is part of this guide and can also be found here. Review all the details in this helpful health and safety guide.

There is also a parent instructional video for returning to school safely. Parents can also access the video at the Health and Safety section. A special video for students will be shown as they return to the classroom. You can check that out here.
Flu clinic for students October 29 and 30
Our annual flu clinic for students will be two days this year to accommodate the hybrid schedule. Cyber students can also attend the clinic. Enrollment forms are due October 23. Get more information about the seasonal flu, our clinic, and how getting a flu shot is highly recommended by the CDC this year.
Immunization paperwork due for some students
All parent/guardians of students still in need of immunizations for the 2020-2021 school year have been notified by the school nurse. All required immunizations are due this school year by November 9, 2020. This requirement applies to all students on virtual and hybrid learning.
Bus schedules posted
Bus schedules are available at the Transportation section of the website. All schools private and public are listed in the updated bus schedule documents.
Monitor Schoology systems operation
Has your student experienced Schoology disruptions? They will sometimes happen. Learn more about how to address technology challenges as well as bookmark the Schoology systems status dashboard to learn whether it is an issue with Schoology, or perhaps another problem.
Lunch information for in school and at home
Lunch will be served to students who attend school in the hybrid model as well as those who will be working 100% remotely. Please read the information about in school lunch as well as the twice weekly distribution of lunch at Northley.
Need to visit a Penn-Delco building?
